Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making HVACPool usable by everyone, and an honest account of where we are not there yet.
HVACPool is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This assessment is our own, not a third-party audit, and the known gaps are listed below rather than hidden.

Our Commitment
HVAC information should not be harder to reach because of how you browse. This site aims to work for people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control and high-contrast modes. We are working towards full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
“Partially conformant” means most of the site meets the standard but some content does not yet. Publishing a statement claiming perfect conformance would be easy and untrue.
What Works
- Semantic heading structure, so a screen reader can jump through a guide by section
- Text and background colours checked against the AA contrast threshold
- Data tables marked up with proper header cells
- Descriptive link text rather than “click here”
- Layouts that reflow at 320px and stay usable at 200% zoom
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms and interactive elements
Known Issues
- Alt text is missing on a number of images carried over from the original site template. This is our highest-priority fix.
- Wide equipment comparison tables require horizontal scrolling on small screens.
- Some decorative images from the theme are not yet correctly marked as decorative, so screen readers may announce them unnecessarily.
- Third-party embedded content is outside our direct control.
Third-Party Components
Parts of this site rely on third-party software, including the page builder and any embedded media. We do not control their accessibility. Where we find a barrier we raise it with the vendor and, where we can, replace the component with an accessible alternative.

If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, we want to hear about it. Email accessibility@hvacpool.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using.
We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and to tell you our plan within 15 business days. If you need information from this site in an alternative format, ask and we will provide it at no cost.
Your Rights
Visitors in the United States are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable state law. Visitors in the United Kingdom are protected under the Equality Act 2010, with complaints handled by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Visitors in the European Union are covered by the European Accessibility Act. If you are not satisfied with our response, those routes remain open to you.
How We Assess
This statement is based on our own review using automated testing and manual keyboard and screen reader checks. It has not been independently audited. We review it whenever the site changes substantially, and at minimum once a year.
